Although Cal. has not adopted "notice" pleading, liberal construction of pleadings is mandated.

As long as complaint states facts entitling P to relief, either legal or equitable, it is not demurrable for failure to state facts sufficient to constitute cause of action.

Form is not important if pleading states facts and relief is justified.

Pleading is sufficient if it tells adversary factual basis of claim.

Particularity of pleading fact is dependent on need of adversary for more details and ability of P to provide.
