Petition to confirm, correct or vacate must be filed in a court having jurisdiction in the county in which arbitration takes place.

If arbitration not within a specific county, proper venue is where agreement to be performed or was made.

If no place specified for performance and K made outside state, arbitration petition filed in county of place of residence or business.

If no more specific rule applies, proper venue for petition is any county.

If prior petition has been filed, petition to confirm, vacate or correct shall be filed in the same proceeding.

Even assuming parties’ stipulations to arbitrate or the insurance policy involved interstate commerce, procedural provisions of the CAA, not the FAA, governed judicial review of the award.
