Referees’ post-hearing findings and orders subject to rehearing by juvenile court judge.
Referee’s orders requiring judge’s approval not final until later of 10 calendar days after service of written copy of order & findings or 20 judicial days after hearing before referee.
Application for rehearing shall be granted as of right if not acted on within statutory time limits.
Juvenile court must act on petition for rehearing within 20 days and extension will not be presumed from court’s silence.
Affidavit by court reporter of inability to complete transcript within 20 days may be good cause to extend time for rehearing.
Rehearing application may not be made prior to making of order to which it is directed.
