Most family law judgments are exempt from 10-year renewal requirements.

Judgments or orders for possession or sale must be renewed.

Trial court properly harmonized FC 291 and MRTA by holding debt evidenced by note and secured by DOT is still owed even though note had expired under MRTA and the DOT was no longer enforceable.

FC 291 leaves no doubt the Legislature did not intend to subject Family Code money judgments to 10-year time limit for renewal under CCP 683.130.
